QUICK MARRY ME SHRIMP PASTA RECIPE

When it comes to culinary adventures, few dishes can match the delectable complexity and mouthwatering taste of  Shrimp with Cream Sauce and Pasta. This recipe is a harmonious blend of savory shrimp, zesty seasonings, and a luscious cream sauce that will transport your taste buds to a whole new level of satisfaction. In this blog post, we'll take you through the steps to create this restaurant-worthy dish right in your own kitchen.

The Magic of Blackened Shrimp

Our journey into the world of flavor begins with succulent blackened shrimp. This cooking method involves searing the shrimp in a hot skillet with a blend of spices, creating a flavorful crust that locks in the juices. Here's how you can achieve the perfect blackened shrimp:

Start by melting a mixture of unsalted butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. As the mixture bubbles, add finely diced garlic and fry until it becomes fragrant, filling your kitchen with an irresistible aroma.

Next, introduce the star of the show: large white shrimp, peeled and deveined. Sprinkle them with a tantalizing Blackened Seasoning, ensuring each shrimp is coated with a symphony of spices. Cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they're perfectly cooked through. Transfer these beauties to a waiting bowl, but don't get too comfortable, as there's more culinary magic to come.

Creating the Creamy Dream Sauce

Now that we've set our blackened shrimp aside, let's shift our focus to the creamy dream sauce that will elevate this dish to new heights. The cream sauce begins with a base of white sherry cooking wine, which adds a delightful depth of flavor. As you pour it into the skillet, watch it reduce to half, while gently scraping any delicious bits off the bottom of the pan.

To intensify the flavors, toss in some sun-dried tomatoes, previously drained of their oil, and fry them for a minute or two. Now, for the secret weapon: McCormick Garlic Butter Shrimp Scampi seasoning packet. You can easily find this packet at your local grocery store in the spices aisle. It's a convenient way to infuse your sauce with a mouthwatering blend of herbs and spices. Feel free to add a dash of fresh lemon juice if you're in the mood for a zesty twist.

The addition of fresh grated Parmesan cheese is what truly makes this sauce shine. As it melts into the sauce, it transforms into a creamy, cheesy delight that will make your taste buds dance with joy. Your kitchen is likely filled with the intoxicating aroma by now, and you're nearly ready to savor the fruits of your labor.

Marriage of Flavors: Pasta and Shrimp

With the sauce perfected, it's time to bring everything together. Add your cooked pasta to the simmering sauce, ensuring every strand is lovingly coated in the creamy goodness. Feel free to use your favorite pasta variety – from linguine to fettuccine – as they all work beautifully in this dish.

Then, the star of the show returns as the blackened shrimp make their grand entrance back into the pan. The shrimp's bold flavors blend harmoniously with the creamy sauce, creating a symphony of taste that will leave you yearning for more.

Sprinkle a handful of fresh chopped parsley over the dish for a burst of color and a touch of herbaceous freshness. The final stir ensures that every element of this dish is perfectly combined, resulting in a plate of pure culinary perfection.

A Symphony of Garnishes

Before you dive into this culinary masterpiece, don't forget to add a few finishing touches. Garnish your Blackened Shrimp with Cream Sauce and Pasta with shaved Parmesan cheese for an extra layer of richness, chopped parsley and green onions for a pop of color, lemon zest for a citrusy zing, and a pinch of red pepper flakes if you crave a subtle kick of heat. These garnishes not only enhance the visual appeal of your dish but also add complex layers of flavor that will tantalize your senses.

A Note on Pasta Water

If you want your creamy sauce to cling lovingly to every strand of pasta, consider reserving a cup of pasta water before draining. Adding a splash of pasta water to the cream sauce helps create a silkier texture and ensures that your sauce hugs your pasta like a warm embrace.

The Blackened Shrimp with Cream Sauce and Pasta recipe is a celebration of flavors and textures that will leave you and your guests thoroughly impressed. Whether you're looking to impress at a dinner party or simply craving a gourmet meal at home, this dish delivers. It's a testament to how a few simple ingredients, expertly combined, can create a culinary masterpiece that's truly unforgettable. So, head to your kitchen, gather your ingredients, and embark on a flavorful journey that's bound to become a favorite in your recipe repertoire. Bon appétit!

These look so lovely! I love the idea of using pizza dough. We make TJ pizza all the time and often have like half a bag of dough left. Next time we do, I'll make these for breakfast the next day. Thanks for sharing :)
