LIMONADA MOCKTAIL

LIMONADA MOCKTAIL

As the bluebonnets bloom and the sun starts to linger a little longer in the Texas sky, it's clear that spring has arrived in San Antonio. And with the scent of wildflowers in the air and the promise of warmer days ahead, my cravings have shifted towards something as refreshing as a splash in the Guadalupe River – summer mocktails!

There's something uniquely satisfying about sipping on a cool, fruity concoction while basking in the semi-hot days of spring in Texas. It's like a mini-vacation in a glass, transporting me to a tropical paradise without ever leaving the comfort of my backyard.

Imagine this: a tall glass filled with ice cubes clinking together as I pour in a blend of tangy lemon and lime juices, sweetened with creamy condensed milk and a hint of Coco Real Cream of Coconut Drink Mix. And to top it all off, a subtle touch of rum extract for that extra kick of flavor – because why not indulge in a little mocktail magic?

With each sip, I can almost feel the gentle breeze rustling through the palm trees and hear the distant sound of waves crashing against the shore. It's a moment of pure bliss, a pause in the hustle and bustle of everyday life to savor the simple joys of springtime in San Antonio.

Whether I'm hosting a backyard barbecue with friends or simply lounging on the porch with a good book, these summer mocktails are the perfect accompaniment to any springtime activity. They're refreshing, vibrant, and oh-so-satisfying – just like the season itself.

So as I raise my glass to toast the arrival of spring in San Antonio, I invite you to join me in embracing the beauty of this season and indulging in a little mocktail magic of your own. Here's to sunny days, cool drinks, and making memories that will last a lifetime. Cheers!

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 cup condensed milk
  • 2 tablespoons Coco Real Cream of Coconut Drink Mix
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • Additional lemon or lime slices for garnish (optional)

Prepare Your Ingredients: Gather all your ingredients and ensure they are fresh. Squeeze the lemon and lime juice if you haven't already done so.

Blend: In a blender, combine the condensed milk, Coco Real Cream of Coconut Drink Mix, ice cubes, fresh lemon juice, and fresh lime juice.

Blend Until Smooth: Blend the mixture until smooth and creamy. Ensure the ice is fully crushed and incorporated into the mixture.

Adjust Consistency: Depending on your preference, you can adjust the consistency of the frosty by adding more ice for a thicker texture or more liquid (lemon/lime juice or condensed milk) for a thinner consistency.

Serve: Pour the Lemon-Lime Frosty into glasses. If desired, garnish with lemon or lime slices for an extra burst of citrus flavor.

Serve immediately and relish the refreshing burst of lemon and lime flavors in every sip.

EDIE'S TIPS

  • For a stronger coconut flavor, add an extra splash of Coco Real Cream of Coconut Drink Mix.
  • Adjust sweetness to taste by varying the amount of condensed milk.
  • If rum extract is unavailable, omit it or substitute with coconut extract for a different twist.
  • To make it a tropical treat, serve with a pineapple wedge or a sprinkle of shredded coconut on top. Enjoy the taste of summer with every sip!

These look so lovely! I love the idea of using pizza dough. We make TJ pizza all the time and often have like half a bag of dough left. Next time we do, I'll make these for breakfast the next day. Thanks for sharing :)
