Ingredients

  • 2 pounds of Ground Meat (I prefer Ground Turkey or Chicken)
  • 1 small yellow onion, diced (1cup)
  • 1 packet Chicken Taco seasoning mix (if making with ground beef use Mild Taco Seasoning)
  • ½ cup Sour cream
  • 10  Doritos nacho bags cheese flavor, broken but not crushed
  • 8 ounces freshly grated mild cheese
  • 1 10 ounce can Rotel  (use your favorite brand)
  • 1 can 10 ounce Enchilada sauce
  • 1 Goya Sazon Culantro y Achiote Packet
  • Jalapeños, Queso, Shredded Lettuce, Cilantro, Chives, taco sauce, salsa, or whatever toppings you prefer

Instructions

  1. Cook the ground meat on medium-high heat with the minced onions in the skillet (cast iron if making the Taco Bake) until the meat is brown and the onions are transparent and soft. Drain the grease if using ground beef,  and return to the stovetop. 
  2. Add in the Goya Sazon Culantro y Achiote Packet. Stir in the Rotel, sour cream, enchiladas sauce ( you do not have to use the entire can), and taco seasoning. Stir continuously until well combined.
  3. After the meat mixture is cooked, please remove it from the heat and add a nice helping of the meat to each Doritos bag. 
  4. Top with your favorite toppings.
